Mariana Barros

International Trade, Trade Remedies

 

Mariana is a Junior Legal Assistant at UNO’s Sao Paulo office. She provides assistance in legal matters related to trade remedies investigations. Mariana is also responsible for research in international trade, focusing on WTO law and dispute settlement, national trade remedies regulations as well as domestic and foreign courts case-law.

At the moment, Mariana is currently completing a bachelor degree in Law from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo (USP). She completed part of her undergraduate studies in a one-year study abroad programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science, London, United Kingdom. Prior to joining Uno, Mariana was an intern in the tax department at Levy & Salomão Advogados, São Paulo, Brazil. Outside UNO, Mariana is a volunteer at Projeto Quixote.
