Thomas Fischer

International Trade, Market Analysis, Trade Remedies

 

Thomas is a Senior Consultant at UNO’s São Paulo office.  He is responsible for preparing market and company-specific analysis in order to support trade remedy investigations, internationalization of companies and market access. Thomas is specialized in injury and causality analysis and has worked with the steel, paper, glass and chemical industries, among others. He has worked with companies from  various countries, such as Brazil, China, Germany, Indonesia, Russia and South Korea.

Prior to joining UNO, Thomas worked in the equity research department of J.P. Morgan in São Paulo, Brazil and in the arbitration department of White & Case LLP in Frankfurt, Germany.  Thomas holds a bachelor degree in Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Direito-GV), and is currently completing a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade da Universidade de São Paulo (FEA-USP).  Outside UNO, he leads a volunteer advocacy project in favor of NGO “Banco de Alimentos”.
